TerraFill — Privacy Policy

Effective 1 September 2026 · Applies to the TerraFill Android app (com.yanidv.terrafill)

In short: TerraFill has no accounts and asks you for nothing — no name, no email, no phone number. It does show ads and it does measure how the game is used, and to do those two things it sends a device identifier, a rough idea of which country you are in, and a record of in-game events to Google. Your game progress itself stays on your device. There is no TerraFill server anywhere.

What is collected, and why

TerraFill includes three Google services: Google AdMob, which shows the ads that pay for the game; Google Analytics for Firebase, which measures how the game is used so it can be improved; and Firebase Cloud Messaging, which allows a message to be sent to players. Through them, the following is collected and shared with Google:

None of this is used to identify you personally, and none of it is sold. What is collected is handled under Google's Privacy Policy; see also how Google uses data from apps that use its advertising services.

What is not collected

Your name, email address, phone number or postal address
Precise or GPS location
Contacts, calendar, photos, videos, audio, files, or messages
Payment or financial information — the game has no purchases
Health data, or any special category of personal data
Anything from other apps on your device

Permissions the app requests

INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — to load ads and send the measurements above
AD_ID — to read the advertising identifier Android gives apps for ads
POST_NOTIFICATIONS — asked for only after you have finished a level, and only if you agree. Declining costs you nothing in the game.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, TerraFill may remind you that your daily streak is about to run out. That reminder is generated on your device by the app itself; deciding to send it involves no server and no data leaving your phone.

The app can also receive an occasional message from the developer — for example, that new levels are available. Notifications are sent at most once every two days, never between 10pm and 9am in your local time, and stop entirely if three go unanswered. You can turn them off at any time in your device's settings, and the game works exactly the same without them.

Advertising and your choices

Ads are optional inside the game: you are never required to watch one, and the levels can all be completed without doing so.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will be shown a consent form the first time the app runs, asking whether ads may be personalised. You can change that answer at any time from Options → Privacy options in the game.

Wherever you are, Android lets you limit ad tracking or delete your advertising ID entirely, from Settings → Google → Ads on your device.

Data stored on your device

Your progress is saved locally, and is not sent anywhere:

Which levels you have unlocked, and your best score and star rating for each
Stars you have earned and spent
Skins you own and the one you have equipped
An interrupted game, so it can be resumed
Your daily mission and streak progress
Your sound on/off preference

Android backup

If you have Android's system backup switched on, your device may copy the game's save data to your own Google account, in the same way it backs up your other apps. That copy belongs to you and is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. The developer of TerraFill has no access to it. You can turn this off in your device's system settings.

Children

TerraFill is not directed at children under 13, and no account or personal information is ever requested. Because the game shows ads and measures usage, it is intended for a general audience rather than for children. If you believe a child has used the app and you want the associated advertising identifier reset, you can do so from your device's settings as described above, or contact us.

Deleting your data

There is no account to delete and no TerraFill server holding anything. To erase what the game remembers:

Open the game, go to Options and choose Reset progress, or
Uninstall the app, which removes all of its local data

Data already collected by Google's advertising and analytics services is held by Google rather than by us, and is governed by their retention policies. You can reset or delete your advertising identifier from Settings → Google → Ads, which disconnects future collection from past collection. If you also want to remove the system backup copy described above, clear it from your Google account's backup settings. For any other request, write to the address below.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be published at this same address with a new effective date at the top, and the Data Safety section on the app's Google Play listing will be updated to match.
