TerraFill — Privacy Policy

Effective 26 August 2026 · Applies to the TerraFill Android app (com.yanidv.terrafill)

In short: TerraFill has no user accounts and never asks you for personal details. Your game progress is saved on your own device. The game shows optional rewarded video ads, and collects anonymous statistics about how it is played so it can be improved. Nothing collected identifies you personally, and nothing is ever sold.

Data we collect

TerraFill has no sign-up and no login, and never asks for your name, email address or any other personal detail. The information described below is collected automatically by two Google services built into the app, and is used only in aggregate — as statistics about players in general, never to identify or contact anyone.

Data stored on your device

The game saves your progress locally so you can pick up where you left off. This includes:

This information stays on your device. It is not uploaded to any server, and it contains nothing that identifies you.

Android backup

If you have Android's system backup switched on, your device may copy the game's save data to your own Google account, in the same way it backs up your other apps. That copy belongs to you and is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. The developer of TerraFill has no access to it. You can turn this off in your device's system settings.

Advertising and analytics

TerraFill uses two Google services: Google AdMob to show optional rewarded video ads, and Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the game is played. Both are operated by Google and are also governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Rewarded ads. Ads are never forced on you. They appear only when you choose to watch one — to earn stars, or to skip an optional waiting period. To serve and measure these ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK reads your device's advertising ID, a resettable identifier that is not tied to your name. You can reset it, or opt out of personalised ads entirely, at any time in your device settings under Settings → Privacy → Ads.

Analytics. The game reports anonymous usage events so the developer can see which levels are too hard, where players stop playing, and whether new features actually work. These are: which screen is open, which level was started, whether an attempt was won or lost, how much territory was claimed, and whether an optional ad was watched. Alongside these events, the Firebase SDK collects a randomly generated app-instance identifier, your device model, operating-system version, language, app version, and an approximate region derived from your IP address. The IP address itself is discarded by Google and is never stored by, or visible to, the developer.

What is never collected. TerraFill does not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise GPS location, or any text you type. There are no user accounts, and the developer cannot identify an individual player from this data. None of it is sold, and none of it is shared with anyone other than the Google services named above.

Your choices and consent

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, TerraFill asks for your consent the first time you open the game, using Google's standard privacy form, and nothing advertising-related is collected until you have answered. If you decline, the game remains fully playable — you simply will not be offered ads, and the analytics described above are switched off for you. You can change your answer at any time from Options → Privacy Settings inside the game.

Wherever you are, you can limit ad tracking through your device's own Settings → Privacy → Ads controls, independently of anything in the game.

Crash reporting

If the app stops unexpectedly, Android's own system sends the technical details of the fault — such as the error and the device model — to Google Play, so the developer can find and fix it. These reports contain no personal information.

Children

TerraFill is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children. Because the game shows advertising and collects the usage statistics described above, it is not designed for use by children under the age of digital consent in their country without a parent's involvement. No personal information is knowingly collected from children, and the app never asks any player for personal details.

Deleting your data

There is no account to delete. To erase everything the game remembers on your device:

If you also want to remove the system backup copy described above, clear it from your Google account's backup settings. To have the anonymous analytics data associated with your device deleted, or to ask any question about your data, contact the developer at the address below and it will be actioned.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be published at this same address with a new effective date at the top. Material changes will be reflected on the app's Google Play listing as well.
